What is #BeesMode? This is a word I created to keep myself motivated to expand my wings every day to become a better version of myself. #BeesMode refers to a state of performing something, especially when you have a BIZZY schedule, with an ambitious attitude, skill, or determination. I have not always woken up in #BeesMode, but I have expanded my wings by realizing what's important to me.
I used to compare myself to others, I would feel obligated to stay out until 2:00 AM with my friends. When the University got sent home for COVID in 2020, I didn't feel the constant pressure of trying to fit in. 2020, is when I got a hold of my life. I began to focus on important things like school and personal health. The outcome allowed me to feel better about myself, have more energy, and focus on my future.
As I have changed my habits, I have put myself first. I drop out of my sorority to not feel obligated to go drinking on weekdays and I wake up at 5:00 AM to work out before classes. Starting my day off by prioritizing personal health makes it easy to live every day in #BeesMode. How will you start your day in #BeesMode?
