I grew up in a very traditional African family, and authority was always respected. It took me a while to realize that the only permission I need is mine. Permission to act, permission to disrupt, permission to discern and decide for myself who I am and who I want to be. I realize now that I am not concrete, I am who I choose to be. I create myself through my thoughts and actions, the steps I take, and the steps I decided not to take. Your only greatness is your choice of greatness, your creativity is your choice of creativity.
