ONE DAY AT A TIME BY GABBY DINI

ONE DAY AT A TIME BY GABBY DINI

I always find myself overthinking things, worrying about the next thing on my to-do list, and trying to plan what I’ll be doing next week.

This way of thinking has added a lot of stress to my life. Similar to any college student, it is easy to get caught up in too many things at once. But at the end of the day, it is important to hone in on a few things each day and learn to give those tasks your full attention.

The ability to focus on tasks at hand has really inspired and pushed me to be more creative.

I have been able to take a step back and think about how I can improve on certain things, and add more creativity into my life by simply asking myself, what is one thing I can change today?

By asking myself this simple question each and every waking day, I have been able to open up opportunities for creativity in my life. This question pushes me to think harder, ideate more, and complete tasks in a different way than usual.

It is not easy to break habits and do what is uncomfortable but it is very important. If we are not pushing ourselves to think differently, try something new, or make small changes than we are remaining stagnant.

Take one day at a time, try new things, make small changes, and creativity will blossom.
