TWO LOVE, TO LOVE, TOO LOVE
I am an Enneagram 2, meaning I care about others deeply and I am “the Helper” type.
I am big on doing acts of service. Last week, I did all the dishes for my housemates. I am motivated by helping others. This is Two Love.
“What a privilege it is to love, a great honor to hold you up.”
I frequently ask myself, “What would Jesus do?” While it’s a corny saying, I use that to inform my decision making on whether or not to help someone. I want to be like Jesus, because He is love. Doing what he would do is To Love.
“Just to love, and be loved in return.”
Loving someone is not always simple. It requires creativity to figure out what someone needs, and then to give them something beyond what they even thought possible. I would rather love on someone too much than not enough, or not at all.
“No you can’t say you love too much.”
