HOW HALLOWEEN ENCOURAGES CREATIVITY BY NATALIE PEEBLES
Ladies and Gents, it’s spooky season. You know what that means, Halloween is right around the corner and it’s time to think about how you might make your Halloween costume more creative this year. Something about this season is simply more fun. There are no wrong answers in terms of Halloween costumes. In my opinion, the only wrong choice is no costume at all.
I’ve been everything from a gingerbread woman, wearing a red wig and carrying bread around with me, to an elderly man, and even a homeless woman with a grocery cart. Yes, a grocery cart (don’t worry it was only borrowed). This is an opportunity for elaboration. Why do less, when you could do more?
This Halloween season, I encourage you to consider straying away from the traditional cat costume. Stop being a ghost or even a witch. Try brainstorming this. Consider doing the 6 hats, or even C4ing Halloween as a whole to make it more fun. I guarantee what you come up with will be more entertaining than what you can find in a magazine.
