DUM DUM POWER RANKINGS BY MICHAEL STEMMLER

Two things I always keep on me: a knife and a stash of Dum Dums. One has been with me since Freshman year of high school and the other is used to cut stuff. Dum Dums don’t just power me, but power those around me. The front left pocket of my backpack helps me spread smiles to anyone I encounter. Yet, everyone has their preferences, everyone has their flavors, and no two people are ever the same. You can’t judge a book by its cover, and definitely not by the Dum Dums they pull out of my bag. Dum Dums are habits, you often stick to a few and avoid the others at all costs. Do you take the risk, go the classic route, or stick to your gut? Try something new and see what happens.
1) Root Beer – Classic flavor, always solid
2) Butterscotch – Bold flavor, beautiful lollipop
3) Sour Apple – Not too sour, springily delicious
4) Cotton Candy – Great blue taste, no blue stain
5) Cream Soda – Sweet flavor, powerful smell
6) Strawberry – Nice and sweet, has a powerful punch
7) Watermelon – Enjoyable taste, that’s it
8) Bubble Gum – Old school feel, mild flavor
9) Lemon Lime – Okay taste, would rather have a sprite
10) Fruit Punch – Unusually sour, nothing like fruit punch
11) Blu Raspberry – Great flavor, terrible stains
12) Grape – Nothing grape is good, enough said
13) Peach-Mango – Not sure who thought of this, should not exist
14) Cherry – If you enjoy a cough syrup lollipop, this is the one for you
15) Blueberry – Knock off blu raspberry, belongs in the trash
Mystery – For those who live on the edge, those not afraid to laugh or cry, it’s a risk if you’re willing to take it
