Am I a truly creative person?
When people ask: “Are you a creative person?”
I say “Yes,” without hesitation.
I consider myself a creative person because I can come up with genius ideas easily and I like sharing ideas with people around me.
However, people never think I am a creative person because my ideas don’t change their lives. Instead, they say I am full of ideas.
A missing link between ideas and creativity
The problem is that those creative ideas in my mind won’t last long and I feel a lack of motivation after a few hours.
So, I was thinking: is there any way I can change from a person full of ideas to a creative person? In other words, how do I find the missing link between ideas and reality?
Work in an Innovation team
I got the answer once I joined an innovation team.
Working with a group of people who have the same goal as me was a completely different experience for me.
I always overthink when I work alone. The team made me more brave because my only job was to write down my ideas. My teammates would do the rest for me.
They always encouraged me: “Tell me your ideas, I will help you make it real.”
If you are an “idea person” and want to be a creative person, find an innovation team. It will be the key to push you towards success.
