THE CREATIVE FIGHT BY RYAN SARVER
Creativity means a lot of different things to a lot of different people. To many, it is often viewed as artistic or musical talent. Because of this, people are very quick to classify themselves as
“not creative.”
And this is the easy route, because being creative takes work.
However, creativity is not just art or music, but a way of thinking, and if utilized correctly, a way of life. It is making the conscious decision each second to go beyond the first idea, thought or assumption. It is forcing yourself to put in that extra effort to not settle for what works, but reach the realm of innovation and foreignness. It should make you uncomfortable and question where boundaries can be pushed. It is a fight to change the status quo in a way never seen before.
And once you force yourself to do this, over and over, it becomes a lifestyle that sets you apart.
