WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS BY OLIVIA HAJJAR

WHEN LIFE GIVES YOU LEMONS BY OLIVIA HAJJAR

“When life gives you lemons…”

Don’t make lemonade, that’s generic. Instead of using a lemon to make a single beverage, take every part of that lemon and try using those parts for different things.

You can extract the oil from lemon seeds to make lotions or beauty products that are rich in Vitamin C and antioxidants.

You can use a lemon half to brighten dull aluminum pots and pans, or even refresh your cutting boards.

You can use the juice of a lemon to remove odors from your refrigerator, or even as a preservative for food.

You can use the peel of a lemon to lighten age spots, soften dry elbows, brighten skin up, and even make the most delicious lemon bars.

Be. Creative.  Never settle for the generic idea because if you look just a little further past lemonade, you will definitely find hundreds of more useful ways to use a lemon. *

*This is applicable to life.
