A NEW DAY BY NATALIE PEEBLES

I love every sunrise. As a morning person, it makes me excited to take on the day when I see the sun rising. Every sunrise is unique and stunning in its own way. The sunrise will never look the exact way it looked even a moment before.

We never hope that the sun will rise differently, we accept it as it is and simply have the privilege of watching it rise.

Why don’t we treat other people the same way as the sunrise? This has made me rethink my outlook about a lot of things in my life.

On this topic, I am similarly inspired by the 21 Pilots lyric, “the sun will rise, and we will try again”. Life is about trying and failing and trying again and being so resilient that we live fully and regret absolutely nothing.

I seek connections and live for beautiful metaphors such as these. When you are able to connect the unconnected and think about things in new ways, you can create so much more meaning for yourself and for others.
