Being told who I am

Being told who I am

In life, I have always been told,

"You’re so creative."

"You do things I would've never thought of."

"You’re so innovative."

But am I truly any of these things? Is it because I am slightly more creative than the average person? Creativity is about seeing the beauty in the process of your work, asking questions, and not being afraid to fail. I do not like to fail, and I am scared to take risks. So how am I seen as creative by so many different people?

My creativity shines with my confidence in my decisions. There are no rules or guidelines to define someone as creative. I am focusing on who I am at my core and not comparing myself to other creative leaders. I am different from most people. I dream and allow myself to see the impossible. As a matter of fact, I want to accomplish the impossible. As much as I have unlearned how to be creative, I am putting up a fight to help my creativity grow. Even if I stop hearing from others about how I am different in this world, I have the creative confidence to know I still am.
