Dive Right In

Dive Right In

You could call me outdoorsy. I’m an Eagle Scout. I like to take hikes and go camping. I climb trees and swim in rivers and I know more about knots than the average person really needs to know. I even work outside at a High Ropes Aerial Course.

Why am I so attracted to being outside? Is it feeling the sun on my face? The wind in my hair?

Nope.

Every time I go outside, I am going on a new adventure. With each adventure, a chance to explore the unknown. Even in places that I’ve been before, I can always find something new. Just today, I found a deer killer (that’s a bird) nest at the high ropes course that I’ve worked at for 3 years!

Every day brings with it a new adventure, and thus an opportunity for growth. After all, we never truly learn if we don’t venture out of our comfort zones, even just a little.

I leave you with a challenge: When given the opportunity to step into the unknown, don’t just step.

Dive Right In.
