Being Naive

Being Naive

In most situations, being naive is not a good thing. It’s mostly looked at as some being stupid, uneducated, young, immature, or any word that has some sort of negative connotation. Yet, with creativity, it’s different. I realized this when my parents brought home our Golden Retriever puppy, Honey. A dog whom I instantly fell in love with. From the start she was playful, adorable and most of all, curious. I always carefully watched her observations of the things around her, her confusion with new sounds and sights and realized that her curiosity for life is because she's naive. This discovery completely changed my mindset on being naive. I realized that being naive may have one situation where it has a positive connotation, which is in the world of curiosity and creativity.
