The Small Things in Life
Something that inspires me and builds my personal creativity is the weird personal items that mean something specific to an individual. Whether it is a stuffed animal you have had since age 6, a favorite sticker you have on your phone, or the nickname on your Netflix profile. These ideas and connections are specialized to you and I believe not enough people enjoy these small sprouts of creativity.
I remember growing up I had certain items that just meant more than the other things I owned. All of elementary school and middle school I wore headbands. That was my small thing that made me feel like me. Looking back I wouldn’t wear them now but at the time they held a special place in my heart.
Think back to what small items meant the most to you, maybe you will discover what creativity throughout your life meant to you.
It's easy to look over these small, beautiful items that might not mean anything to you but it does to someone else.
Find beauty in those small things and realize they might make a huge difference in someone's life.
