Weird is an Advantage

Weird is an Advantage

Weird is an advantage. Being weird is interesting. Having random and obscure hobbies is

interesting. Weirdness makes you stand out, blandness makes you fit in. Don’t just fit in, make

your presence known by doing what's odd and out of the box.

You should never be friends with someone who you could easily replace. Each person you meet

and invite into your life should provide a unique view into your life. Having a circle of friends who

are all the same is not a good thing. You should debate with each other and introduce new

things to each other. Be weird and embrace your weirdness. Let’s be real... who actually likes a

normal, boring person?

I embrace creativity in my everyday life by embracing my weirdness. I ask the Uber driver

personal questions, when we could sit in silence. I ask for recommendations from the waitress. I

try new hobbies and activities like wheel spun pottery. I play intramural sand volleyball after

never playing volleyball in my entire life. I love the random, weird things I do. Do you?
