Sensitivity is my Superpower
Sensitivity is often misunderstood as a weakness, a vulnerability that makes one seem
fragile in a world that often expects strength. However, I have come to view sensitivity as
my superpower, a gift that allows me to think deeply and creatively in ways that others
may not.
In my highschool days, whenever I found myself in minor conflicts with my friends, they
were so quick to label me “sensitive” and an “overthinker.” Over time, I’ve come to see this
as a compliment rather than an insult. My sensitivity enables me to engage in meaningful
conversations, delve into profound thoughts, and truly grasp others perspectives.
Challenges come with sensitivity, such as moments of vulnerability and the potential for
overwhelm. Yet, I have learned to embrace these challenges as opportunities for growth.
Being vulnerable nurtures my authenticity.
Looking ahead, my goal is to keep using my sensitivity to tap into deeper emotions and the
experiences it offers. Sensitivity isn't a weakness; it's a strength, a super power that allows
me to explore the world in a different way. It forms the core of my creativity, and I embrace
it as I aim to better understand myself and the world.
