CREATIVITY COMES BURSTING OUT OF YOU BY LEXI WILSON

I used to think that my passion for dance was childish or something to be hidden. Choreographing and dancing are my primary creative outlets. It gives me this magical feeling where I get lost in the music, and the world disappears. There is no more VOJ or thoughts. It's just my body and the music.

I realize now that this joy and creative outlet is not something to hide or downplay. It's something to celebrate. Dance is my passion, and that passion and drive allow my creativity to burst out of me in a series of intertwined movements. Charles Bukowski said, "If it doesn't come bursting out of you in spite of everything, don't do it." Passion is what drives my creativity and makes dancing worth doing.
