FOSTERING INNOVATION AND CREATIVITY THROUGH GOAL-SETTING BY MATT LAMANNA

Through my own work experiences, I have learned that one of the best ways to innovate is through creativity. I had never put together the connection between innovation and creativity until this class, where I learned that they are both rooted from goal setting and the ability to take risks. An example of a time when I exhibited this creative mindset was during the pandemic. Our goal was to keep a family owned Pizza Truck business open, with the risk being able to market an at home pizza kit for families. As I look toward building an entrepreneurial-minded future, I am inspired to draw more creativity from within, which I now believe will help foster innovation within the business world.
