-FUN FACT:I AM A FRATERNAL TWIN AND WE ARE 2 HOURS APART
I always wondered if I wasn’t a twin if I would still be wondering if I am unique enough. After spending 21 years constantly being compared to someone else, it really made me question if I was special enough to be my own person. Then through the idea of a “better” twin, I really questioned my worth entirely. I was always scared of being the 2nd best twin, but now I'm learning 2nd best can be a good thing. But ESP 252 has taught me that being the first right answer isn't always the best answer. Creativity is about thinking outside of the box and being different from what people expect. Creativity lets your imagne run wild and not letting limitations keep you contained. Creativity is about embracing the 2nd right answer. When I live my daily life now, I see endless opportunities in doing things the second right way. I learned that it's okay to not necessarily be the right answer on paper. I am learning to let my creativity out and embrace who I am. Although I might share DNA with another person, I am Emily Rake. No one else will ever be Emily Rake. I am my own person and I have a life full of embracing myself. I have a life full of sitting outside the box while others live contained in the box. But I would rather sit outside the box running free then be stuck in the box living a boring life.
