THOUGHTS ABOUT MY FUTURE BY EMMETT JONES

THOUGHTS ABOUT MY FUTURE BY EMMETT JONES

In the same way many choose to live their lives, I was doing the same. Do your time, keep your head down, don't ask questions, one right answer, take the path of least resistance. I was constantly convincing myself that this is what I wanted. Security, ease, direction, promise...

It sounds nice on paper doesn't it? To do what you are told and be promised something in return. Where your biggest concern is if you are going to make it to work on time. I think a life like that sounds great… if only it was the life for me.

As a result of my short time on my creative journey, I have learned incredibly valuable skills and mindsets, but none of it compares to what I have learned about myself.

I realized that living my life the way I want to live it comes at a cost. The only question is, how much am I willing to pay?
