FULL YOUR CUP BY JULIA JOHNSON

I’ve come to realize the extent of outside influences that weigh on how we conduct our lives. What to do in your free time, who you spend time with, or how you act. Whether it be expectations or voices of judgement influencing where we direct our energy or how we spend our time, we often get stuck going through the motions. We tend to get lost in the busyness of life and coast through our days. How often do we choose to focus on only what fills our souls and makes us feel alive? I connect with my creative self the best when I feel like myself, when I do what I want and what makes me feel best. Do what is best for you. Make decisions and direct your energy towards the things you want, and not what you think you “should.”

I encourage you to pinpoint those adventures, hobbies, people, or things that excite you and make you feel content and fulfilled. After all, there’s only one person that can do that- you!
