FINDING UNCONVENTIONAL CREATIVITY BY ANNA MARIE DEMOS

I’ve always felt the most alive when I am creating.

When I was young that happened in the art classroom, by painting and making things with my hands. That love has grown with me throughout the years. 

But these days, creating looks a little different. I have learned the many ways that creativity happens outside of the art classroom. I’ve found myself on fire about things like meeting people, solving problems, and trying new things. I have realized those are all ways that hold creativity if you are intentional with them.

These days, I make these passions a priority in my life. Creating both in and out of the art classroom has pushed me to simply live life better. I get so excited thinking about including all types of creativity in my future art classroom, and seeing faces light up when they realize that they are all artists in their own ways!
