I am sure the last thing many of you want to think about is your own death. But face it, it’s going to happen one day. So what are you going to do in your lifetime to make sure that, when this day does come, you have nothing left to do?

After seeing Todd Henry, author of , speak at Miami, I have not been able to stop think about his phrase “die empty.” How are we going to ensure you have no regrets? No questions left? No ideas left? You do this by DOING IT.

If you have a question, ask it. Who cares if you think someone will think it is stupid? Most likely no one is going to remember the question you asked, and even more likely, someone is wondering the exact same thing.

If you have an idea, try it out. If you don’t try it out, someone else along the way may, or even worse, no one ever will. In my opinion, there is no bad idea, just a failure of trying. If it doesn’t work, great! Move onto the next one.

If you have a fear of trying or failing, you are going to die full of regret, wasted ideas, and questions that were never answered. Be the person who, when people reflect on your life, think you did it all, and had no regrets. In other words, the right way to die is to .
