THE CURIOSITY BEHIND CREATIVITY BY ERINN WOODS
“Curiosity about life in all its aspects, I think, is still the secret of great creative people.” – Leo Burnett
Curiosity drives my actions. Without curiosity, we are beings walking around with no ambition to change.
As students, we have been taught not to be curious, told not to ask why or wonder about how things came to be, but instead to just be interested in the facts.
No curiosity, no ambition, no creativity.
The desire to learn something, the spirit of inquiry, it is strange that the use of the word “curiosity” has declined along with the action behind it because without curiosity we are a world without creativity.
