IT’S OK TO STAND IN THE RAIN BY JACK LAVELLE

IT’S OK TO STAND IN THE RAIN BY JACK LAVELLE

What if I told you to leave your umbrella at home on a rainy day. Yeah, you’d get a little wet, but that’s ok. You’d probably think I’m crazy, right?

Well, what if I told you it rains every day of your life and you just haven’t realized it yet. The raindrops are actually the thoughts that pop into your head, the conversations you have with friends, and the choices you make throughout the day. The umbrella is your subconscious; that voice you hear making you second guess your actions. It shields you from possibilities and different outcomes.

When you leave your umbrella at home and silence that voice that tells you not to, you begin to get wet, drop by drop. And, the more wet you get, the more creative freedom you have. You have more opportunities to live, take risks, fail, and to learn.

So, I encourage you to leave your umbrella at home and embrace the rain.
