EMBRACE VULNERABILITY BY BEN STEFFEN

Being normal is overrated.

Since a young age, I have felt the weight of the fear of judgement. As humans, we are naturally inclined to avoid vulnerability. The often irrational fear of being judged limits so many from exploring and asking questions. In order to unlock your creative potential, you must embrace vulnerability. The more uncomfortable the better. This semester, I have made a conscious effort to live vulnerably, living my life without fear. Although these may seem like they are antonyms, they go hand in hand. It is a constant internal struggle to step out of the box, and see what is on the outside. The ascension to creativity is not a guided stair way, it is a running start and leap into the unknown. Seeking new experiences, demanding feedback, and going for the second right answer.
