CREATIVITY IN PRACTICE BY THIERNO BAH
Being raised in Africa where creativity isn’t thought nor talked about, it was hard for me and most other Africans to be aware of our own creativity. Yet, it is something that you see in practice across the continent as it is ingrained in the culture not to let your circumstance define you. Once I started learning about it, I realized how much I have used creativity in order to survive and become the person I am today. It also led to me realizing that creativity isn’t learned but it is something that it is in all of us; so, what really drives my creativity is knowing that it is in me and by digging deeper and learning about it, I can be creative in whatever I do.
