INSIDE YOUR SAFETY ZONE IS THE LEAST SAFE PLACE TO BE BY ALEJANDRO ROMAN

My creative struggle is challenging myself to be comfortable with being uncomfortable. However, I have focused on improving this my entire sophomore year. 

Creativity to me is about taking risk, challenging the process, doing what others are too afraid to even consider. 

We as humans have only one life. Why live it every day in your typical comfortable shell? Safe from curiosity. 

Anyone who is anyone challenged themselves by taking a risk that others shy away from.  

I myself, see risk as an opportunity. An opportunity to deviate from the norm and create something of value. An opportunity to test yourself and your work. 

Sure, there are times when the outcome isn’t to your liking. To me, this isn’t a failure, but an opportunity for growth within yourself. A time to break down your entire process and reflect on what could have been done differently.  

You would never have known if you didn’t try

A side of hustle of mine is trading in the stock market. Before I put my money into a security, I always evaluate my risk and make positions that my peers cannot fathom. The analysis can only take you so far. The rest is an area of uncertainty that you must be comfortable with exploring. The fruits of my labor speak for itself.
