The Why Game

The Why Game

I decided to ask ChatGBT to explain the “why” game. This is what they said:

“The ‘why’ game is a popular questioning game that is often played with children. The objective of the game is to encourage curiosity and critical thinking by asking a series of "why" questions to explore the underlying causes and reasoning behind a particular situation or behavior.”

Notice how the AI immediately said it was a game played by children. We are so curious as children. I played the “why” game so much as a child, my parents would get so annoyed, but I learned so much. We never ask “why” anymore. The more we ask questions and dig into the “why” is where innovation and creativity can blossom.

So next time you find yourself on a long car ride or waiting in line for something, start asking questions and annoy whoever you are with by playing the “why” game. You just never know what answers you may find.
