CREATIVITY IS CARVING IDEAS INTO ACTION
Creativity is much like carving a pumpkin. A curious mind will see a pumpkin and wonder what unprecedented design it can make from it. This can only be done by action, as creativity shows us that knowledge without action is worthless.
The ambiguity of a pumpkin represents that many different things may be transformed from it and challenges us to find these uses and look for the second right answer. Not only can creativity be applied to a pumpkin though, for I apply it everyday to strengthen my creative mindset.
Learning to be creative is easy, applying it in life is hard. Challenge yourself to see the world in a way that nobody else does. Practice looking at a simple object and think of a million different ways it can be used. Turn your pumpkin into a jack-o-lantern.
Throughout my life, I have always been analytical and school has taught me that there is one correct answer to every question. Learning and applying creativity has since taught me to find new solutions and to instead see the many different ways something can be solved. So, much like carving a pumpkin into a beautiful design, act on your ideas and transform them into creative solutions.
