Crash Hard Like the Waves
By: Erin Mundy
The Ocean can be chaotic or calm. It can be cold or warm. But in a moment, that perfect wave crashing down can represent creativity. As the gray wave circulates until it gets larger and larger, it draws in energy from the water itself. It creates that wave, to be used, watched, or even jumped over.
Us humans love the waves, like in Ogunquit, Maine, because it allows us to be creative and invent things like surfing, boogie boarding, or body surfing. Personally, I love how the waves make me feel refreshed. When I swim through one, all of my stress fades away, and it makes me feel like I can start over.
Although it is common to go to the East Coast ocean in the summer, I still try to imagine myself going through the waves. Feeling more refreshed, rejuvenated, and ready to take on another adventure. Whether that be a new course or an apartment, I try to succeed as hard as the waves crash on the shore.
