NO PLAN IS SOMETIMES THE BEST PLAN BY ANGEL SCHLOTTERBACK
There are times in life where it’s appropriate to have a solid, foolproof plan with lists and excel sheets. There are other times where the best thing you can do is be spontaneous and go wherever the wind blows you. Unplanned moments can sometimes be trying and frustrating, but they also can be times that you’ll remember for the rest of your life and will tell your grandchildren about. It’s having no plan that led me to snowmobile on Iceland’s second largest glacier and to see the northern lights. My sister and I showed up in Iceland with nothing but our suitcases and smiles for what was to come. In the end, it was a trip that allowed for growth and understanding that sometimes winging it lets you experience and do things you otherwise wouldn’t have. There is usually this temptation to come up with a plan, but not having one once in a while can be good for the soul.
