WORK HARD, PLAY HARD AND CREATIVITY BY PATRICK MANES

WORK HARD, PLAY HARD AND CREATIVITY BY PATRICK MANES

Lately I have been, not struggling with, but am aware of the balance in college. Finding the balance between partying and getting shit done as Friedman says. I go out on Fridays and Saturdays (occasionally on Thursdays) with my friends because I know I won’t be able to do it forever and I love spending time with my friends.

The week and Sundays are my time to grind on school, however, sometimes I am not as productive as I’d like to be. I procrastinate and don’t stay focused. This semester I have been using creativity to help with the balance. My room and workspace is clean, organized, and arranged in the best possible way for me to be productive. I have a morning routine that I stand by and it helps me get my mind right to focus up for the day. I also take some time out of my day to do some videography work which is where my creativity is the most valuable (see my last blog post for more about videography).

I use my creativity to find the balance between work and play. Work hard, play hard.
