TAKE A DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVE BY BRODY CARPER

Creativity is different for everyone, everyone has a different perspective and view on life. That is what makes creativity, creative. A person who is able to look from more than one perspective has the ability to be creative. I have always been interested in other people’s viewpoints because it is how you can learn to appreciate others. At Miami there are so many people that have so many backgrounds. If you get a group of people who have all of these different perspective's that is where creativity flourishes. There are times where I would be struggling to figure something out and to solve a problem and I would try to put myself in someone else’s shoes give myself a different perspective. In doing that I will be able to get over a problem and solve it.

There are a lot of occasions where having multiple perspectives can be very beneficial to support creativity. If you look at an image and see a square but if you look at it from a different angle you could see a triangle and another perspective could even be a pentagon. Creativity spawns from thinking outside of the lines and the only way to do that is to have multiple ways of thinking.
