OXFORD IS GREAT BUT NOTHING BEATS ADVENTURE BY CHARLIE FRY
As a senior and with graduation less than a year away for me, I’m at the point where I frequently think about what life in the workplace is really going to look like. People frequently talk about what life in the “real world” will look like but once it is staring at me in the face like it is now, I have been thinking about it in a little more depth.
My brother (who is pictured on the right at the start of this blog) just started college and my advice to him was to do as many new and unique things as possible. The memories that stick out for me the most are when me and my friends have done things that we don’t usually do. Being surrounded by a lot of nothing in Oxford has challenged me to thing hard and try a lot of things that require leaving the Oxford area to go do something fun and out of the norm. It is a fun task that my friends and I love to try and do. Take that with a grain of salt however, as Oxford, Ohio remains my favorite place in the world and will probably forever be. Still, in the end, finding new random things to do in this area has left me with some of the greatest memories ever. Be as creative as possible with the activities you do and you will create great memories with great people.
