EXPIRATION DATES BY ANJALI DUKE DE LANEROLLE

During my first week of sophomore year, a professor of mine spoke about dreams and goals. He said that most dreams don’t get achieved unless you put a date on them. An expiration date. Ever since then, I have been more mindful of what I spend my time on. I started putting dates on everything I do. When I achieve something, the next thing I do is find something else to achieve. I started to think about my long-term goals, dreams, and plans for the future. Am I going to make them happen or do I let them die off? I understand that dreams and goals evolve as people evolve, but at the end of the day if my dream is that important to me I’m setting an expiration date.
