CONFESSIONS OF A PROFESSIONAL FAILURE BY MACKENZIE LESHER
Hi there! My name is Mackenzie Lesher and I am what some might call a failure expert.
Ironically, I’m writing this post the day after it was expected because I failed to update my planner with the due date.
That being said, one big lesson I’ve learned in my time in Entrepreneurship regarding failures is that you just have to make the best of the situation.
You have your messy failures; the kind where you failed because of oversights or disorganization. There are also positive failures; the kind that teach you a valuable lesson for future endeavors.
There are a million different ways to fail, but the most important part of the failure process is how you pick yourself back up again afterward. Failing allows us to test our strengths and weaknesses, resulting in a greater future potential when we allow ourselves to process the failure.
Success isn’t everything, and I find that failing teaches me lessons that I might have missed had I done everything right the first time around.
Take it from a professional failure, give it a try! You never know where your failures might take you.
