Ignore accolades, Ignore the titles, Ignore the grades, Ignore the opinions of others. Creativity is about you expressing yourself and not about pleasing those around you. Too many times we worry about if our work will get the top marks, if everyone will love it, if it’s better than what Lucy did...but none of that matters!! Our jobs as creatives is to be confident in our abilities and to live the creative life that we want to live and not a life that is run by the judgment or approval of others.

If we work for the awards and recognition, and for the validation of others, then who's path are you on? Are you really living the life you want to live?
