EMBRACE QUIRKINESS BY JOHN DIGIACOBBE

EMBRACE QUIRKINESS BY JOHN DIGIACOBBE

“Every human should Exist in an Enriching Life.”

Most people who read that line may think it is an inspirational quote from a poet, or an exert from a novel. What they likely wouldn’t think is that the words in that quote are words that I use as part of my daily vocabulary.

Why say “Let’s hang out” when you could say “Let’s Exist”

Why say “Who wants to take a fun drive?” when you could say “Who wants to Partake in an Enriching Excursion?”

Why say “I left 10 minutes ago” when you could say “I Exited 10 minutes ago.”

Why say “Let’s watch a TV show” when you could say “Let’s Observe a Program”

Why say “I hooked up with that girl last night” when you could say “I Touched a Human last night” (Sorry, if that’s TMI for some).

At the end of the day we all have qualities that make us quirky and unique. I choose to utilize words and phrases that most people wouldn’t think to use when describing situations. It’s just one way that I try to stand outside of the conventional norms. Embrace your quirkiness. Do what others wouldn’t think to do. Try Existing in an Enriching life!
