GROAN MORE BY EVAN HELCHEN
“Let him that would move the world first move himself” –Socrates
Getting up, it’s a hard thing to do. Whether you are sitting on the couch, getting out of bed, or just happen to find yourself on the ground, getting up is usually met with a collective groan.
A funny thing happens after we groan. We go places, meet people, do things, learn, and grow. It takes courage to get up, because doing something is riskier than staying in the same place. But if you stay in the same place, you never create, you never fail, and you never grow.
So I encourage you, next time you have an idea or even a hint of interest in something, get up and groan.
