A COMBINATION OF WORDS BY NATHAN FLEISCHER

I’ve been learning about writing. It’s not easy. It takes articulate detail and time. There’s no right answer, and there are countless ways to share your message.

Writing is an art. It’s expressive. It’s creative. My question is how can I put words together to influence and inspire people? I’ve discovered it shouldn’t be done alone.

It took me awhile, but I learned some truth. I used to think once I wrote a draft all I needed was revision, but now I know I need plenty of revisions, a community’s worth of feedback, and time to reflect on what’s been written.

Through this, I learned how words could work. They could be put together to inspire. They could collaborate with each other and challenge the way people think, but I take them for granted. I find they have true power, and I want to tap into it. I guess that’s why I wrote my blog on writing: to creatively share what could be.
