EMBRACE CREATIVITY. BE CREATIVE. BY YING ZENG
To me, creativity is to be curious, always asking questions and seeking answers. I am not creative but I know creativity plays an important role in business, determining whether a company is successful or not.
My creativity struggles are the lack of curiosity and some limitations such as vocabulary. When I was young, I loved asking questions. However, now in college, what I always do is to meet the professor’s requirements and I only work for a grade instead of learning something from the homework. I do not like asking questions, and even sometimes when I have interesting questions or ideas, I will reject the ideas immediately. The reason is that I think they are not working. I should be curious about my questions and ideas, and do some research for my ideas, then make a conclusion instead of just ignoring them.
What I have learned from the class is that a grade is not how we evaluate creativity. We should embrace ambiguity because it allows us to keep an open mind.
