JUST ANOTHER STORY BY NICOLE KESSLER

I used to hate them. I used to wish they would just go away. I was convinced they weren’t a part of me. Then I realized. A scar is more than a mark.

A scar is just another story, another way to show that you got knocked down and got back up. A scar isn’t a tragedy, but a victory.

So why wish for perfection, don’t you want to show where you’ve been? Or show how far you’ve come?

No one gets anywhere without a few falls. Be proud. Don’t hide your scars.

Deter the judgment and silence your VOJ. In fact, it is just another story.
