I WAS THE QUINTESSENTIAL “FACTORY MONKEY” BY OLIVIA GALLAWAY

My name is Olivia Gallaway and I am a “factory monkey” starting from the age of 5. I never thought of my self as a creative thinker, student, or entrepreneur. But, after a semester in ESP 252, I am slowly but surely starting to understand the creative mindset. I even have a monkey that I stole from Professor Friedman’s office to serve as a constant reminder. I have to make a conscious effort everyday to resist asking questions like ‘”Should I,” “Can I,” ”What would you do,” and so on. This is just the start to my creative journey and it starts with a total mindset change. I look forward to continuing as a creative thinker throughout my college career and life.
