THERE IS NOTHING WORSE THAN AN OUTFIT REPEATER. BY JULIA MOSCHETTA
I follow rules, I rarely break them. Some rules I follow are “No white after Labor Day” and “Never wear the same outfit twice.”
I never wear the same outfit twice. I refuse. Yes, I might wear the same top and pants together; but I change the shoes or the accessories. It might be a small change, but it still creates a different outfit.
An outfit can make or break my day. I know I will be happier if I wear something put together and different. I know I will have a miserable day if I am wearing leggings and a sweatshirt. I would say my clothes make me happy, but it is something more than that. My clothes help me function. I stand a little taller, walk a little faster, and work a little better if I like what I am wearing.
I can tell you what happened on a specific day because I can remember what I wore. I can also remember what other people wear. Sometimes my friends ask me what they should wear and I can give them an outfit without looking at their closet.
