KIDS HAVE MORE FUN BY CLAUDIA CHADWELL

Why is it that kids have more fun? Why can’t most of us say the same thing about ourselves? Did we miss something?

It is unfortunate that many of us lose elements of our childhood as we grow up. I like to think I’ve still got some kid-ishness in me, but it is difficult to maintain from time to time. There is this misconception that childishness is correlated with immaturity. I think that is far from the reality.

It is important that as creatives we dip into our childlike essence to remind us that it is okay to be vulnerable, and that it’s okay to finger-paint or dress up every now and again.
