FALLING OUT OF LOVE BY MAUREEN SULLIVAN
A few weeks ago, I retired from swimming. It had been a part of my life and identity. I loved swimming. But as years built up and the mental, emotional and physical stress increased, I no longer loved the sport I dedicated so much to.
I fell out of love with my passion that I put my whole heart into but I was at peace with it.
You see, it’s okay to fall out of love with someone or something. As you constantly evolve, you will no longer need these passions in your life because you’ve found new ones that better suit you and path.
Falling out of love is hard, but necessary to continue to grow as a human. Reflect. What changes can you make in your life to grow?
