AFFECT THE CAUSE BY AARON WHITE
Before writing this blog, I didn’t really understand the difference between effect and affect. Actually, I assumed there was color vs. colour thing going on. I realized, however, the irony within the definitions and how they apply to life. I think that there is too much emphasis on the effect and not the affecting. In other words, too much focus on the results and not the cause. To truly understanding something and to get the most out of it, you must first understand why you are doing it. Don’t do things because of what you can get out of it, do it because it is your passion, do it because it not only makes you feel good but other as well. Ask yourself are you in it for effect or are you doing the affecting?
Don’t Cause the Effect.
Affect the Cause.
Definition:
Effect (noun) – a change that is a result or consequence of an action or other cause.
Affect (verb) – have an effect on; make a difference to.
