You Win or You Learn

You Win or You Learn

You Win or You Learn

This is a quote I heard Conor McGregor say one time and I have never forgotten it.

This quote directly relates to my creative struggle and the things I have learned about being creative.

If you learn from mistakes you make, you learn to realize that failure is actually a good thing, and recognizing it is an even better thing.

To me, failure and learning go hand in hand. They are balanced and one could not exist without the other. I have failed many times and since I have been able to learn from those failures, I have understood that you should smile when you fail.

I have learned that every great success has double the amount of failures that it took to get to that success. It all ties into being patient, optimistic, and truly understanding why you failed and learning from it.

Remaining optimistic is in my opinion the best way to recognize failures. Don’t look at it as a failure, but rather an opportunity to better yourself and learn something new.

At the end of the day, You Win or You Learn.
