THE JOURNEY TO FIO BY ADRIANA BARLOW

THE JOURNEY TO FIO BY ADRIANA BARLOW

I have been trying to figure out for years now what I want to do with my life. I started hearing the question after I had committed to Miami as a junior in high school. It started with the typical, “What do you plan on studying?” That question graduated to “What’s your major?”, and now it’s, “What do you want to do with your life? What type of career do you see yourself going into?”

I don’t have the answer to that yet, and I have learned to be okay with it! Life isn’t about having everything figured out, it’s about the journey you take to get there and the things you learn along the way. I do, however, know that I have a passion for seeing others succeed and being part of that process, and I have a passion for the game of softball. I want to make an impact on other’s lives and I want that to be measurable. I don’t care if it’s the smallest impact, but to know that I have helped someone in the slightest way brings me joy. Because of my passions, I am constantly trying to learn more about others and more about the game. I want to inspire other people to have that same passion that I have for others and the art of the game.

Ask yourself this question:

What is your passion?

I encourage you to find a way to bring that burning fire of passion to those around you.
